Ed Hastings of Resource Service Solutions, Inc., WARNING

We are in the business of buying and selling semiconductor processing, assembly, and testing equipment.  In September 2006 we were contacted by Ed Hastings of Resource Service Solutions in Sparks, Nevada, regarding a lot of equipment he had for sale.  We came to an agreement on pricing, sent Purchase Order 4421, received Invoice 44536, and mailed Check #23178 to their “Clearing Department” in New Jersey.  Our check was cashed on October 19, 2006.

We never received our equipment.

Ed had told us that he would have everything “ready to go” within 5 days of receipt of the check.  We made numerous attempts to get the weight and dimensions from him so we could arrange shipment.  None of this information was provided.

We have asked for our money to be reimbursed.  Ed has told us “the check is in the mail” on numerous occasions – stalling and lying.  Phone calls, letters, e-mails have gone unanswered.  The address in Sparks is no longer valid and we’ve had no luck getting the New Jersey site to respond.

We are normally very cautious about sending money to companies when purchasing equipment, but this one somehow slipped by us.  Doing business for the past 20 years we can happily say that we’ve run into very few scam artists.
